Our High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) overhead industrial fans are a great ventilation solution for your warehouse, hangar, factory, barn, or other large building. This large ceiling fan is powered by direct drive Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) technology that eliminates the need for a gearbox between the motor and blades. The airfoil blades provide optimal airflow while allowing for slower speeds and minimizing noise.

Fan Coverage

To maximize airflow and cooling, we recommend that each fan cover an area no larger than 3x the fan's diameter.  Air will continue to circulate outside this area, but occupants may not feel the airflow.  These are general recommendations and may not apply to your building's layout.  If you have specific sizing questions for your facility, please do not hesitate to contact us.

What's Included?

Each order will include the following components: the fan, a wall-mounted control box, a mounting plate designed to hang from I beams, a 10ft drop rod, and required hardware to include stabilizing guy wires.  As each facility is different, we do not include the wiring from the breaker box to the control box or from the control box to the fan.

Blade Construction

All of our fans utilize extruded aluminum fans blades for an  optimal strength-to-weight ratio and added rigidity.  The blades are constructed in an airfoil profile to maximize airflow.  This design is vastly superior to straight blade or bent blade designs.

Motor Construction

Our direct drive fans utilize Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motors (PMSM) that produce high torque while eliminating the need for a gearbox between the motor an blades.  PMSM motors utilize digital controllers to vary the speed of the fans.  The lack of a gearbox decreases the weight and eliminates the need for oil changes and maintenance. For this reason, these motors have become increasingly popular in industrial applications and electric vehicles.
